Description

SPACE STATION. INITIATIVE STATUTE. Sets forth findings and declarations regarding the space program. Provides that the Governor shall sign and deliver to the President a statement that the People of the State of California respectfully request the President and Congress of these United States to direct the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to establish, before 1990, a permanently inhabited Space Station. Summary of estimate by Legislative Analyst and Director of Finance of fiscal impact on state and local governments: The adoption of this measure would have no direct fiscal impact on California state and local governments.
