Description

FIREARMS. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. Adds a section to the state constitution stating that every person has the right to acquire, own, possess, use, keep and bear firearms except as restricted by the statutes of this state in effect on the date of the adoption of this section, and provides that this right shall not be infringed. Summary of estimate by Legislative Analyst and Director of Finance of fiscal impact on state and local governments: This measure would have no identifiable state or local fiscal impact.
