Description
VOTING BY ABSENT ELECTORS. Initiative Act providing for issuance of certificate of identification and ballot to voters who will be absent from home precincts on election day; provides that upon presentation by elector of such certificate and ballot in sealed envelope to Judge of Election on election day at polls in any precinct more than ten miles from polls where registered, such elector may mark said ballot in secret, Judge to mail same to County Clerk where voter registered; prescribes form of certificate and canvas of ballots; authorizes elector to vote at home precinct upon surrender of certificate and ballot.
