Description
Prohibits public school districts from paying any employee a salary higher than that paid to the highest-paid classroom teacher. Requires teachers and administrators to be paid on the same salary schedule according to their experience, education, and number of days worked. Summary of estimate by Legislative Analyst and Director of Finance of fiscal impact on state and local government: No fiscal effect on overall K-12 education spending.
