Description
If this petition is signed by the required number of registered voters and timely filed, a referendum will be placed on the next statewide ballot requiring a majority of voters to approve a 2019 state law before it can take effect. The 2019 law requires use of a standardized form signed by doctor to obtain medical exemption from school vaccination requirements. Exemptions incompatible with criteria established by Centers for Disease Control, Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, or American Academy of Pediatrics may be denied or revoked, and such determination may be appealed.
