Description
SALARIES FOR ELECTIVE OFFICES. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. Amends constitution to require approval by majority vote at an election before the salary for any elective state, city, or county office can be increased. Reduces compensation for any such office on the effective date of the measure by twenty-five percent of any increase in the annual compensation for the office between December 31, 1970, and the effective date of the amendment.
