PEREMPTORY CHALLENGES IN JURY TRIAL. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. In selecting the jury for the trial of any criminal matter each defendant shall have six peremptory challenges and the district attorney shall have no peremptory challenges.
