Description

MARIJUANA. INITIATIVE STATUTORY AMENDMENT. Provides that adults possessing, transporting or cultivating marijuana for personal use shall not be punished criminally. State commission established to study potential agricultural, economic and tax benefits of regulating marijuana market. Measure does not affect legislation prohibiting person under influence of marijuana from operating motor vehicles or engaging in conduct which may endanger others. Fiscal impact: Undetermined.
