Proposition Summary

Assembly Constitutional Amendment 90. Adds new section to Constitution. Authorizes State to contract with Rector Dam Authority for water for any State agency supported wholly or partly by public fund,; and pledging of State's credit therefor in amount not exceeding the sum the authority heretofore or hereafter agrees to pay the Federal government, over not exceeding fifty years, for any loan accepted by said authority. Declares power to enter such contract contingent upon a Federal loan or grant to authority for project; authorizes authority to accept such grant or loan and to construct and maintain Project.
