Proposition Summary

Assembly Constitutional Amendment No.1. Amends Section 8 of Article XI of Constitution. Gives any chartered city or city and county alternative of establishing borough form of government either for entire territory or any part thereof, any such borough to exercise such municipal powers and to he administered as the charter prescribes.
